PDT gel is a patented acne solution developed using Phyto Barrier’s unique technology. This innovative treatment utilizes Tryptophan photodynamic therapy to effectively reduce sebum production, making it suitable for adult acne, tubercular acne, teenage acne, and seborrheic acne. It offers a side-effect-free experience and works in conjunction with LED light for optimal acne treatment.
This new approach eliminates the need for the biosynthesis process of porphyrin, significantly shortening treatment time. It provides superior decomposition and excellent discharge emission without any adverse effects. Additionally, it delivers impressive results for post-breakout red marks and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, allowing for multiple treatments in one session (Acne + Pigmentation).
User Instruction:
1. Start by cleaning and disinfecting your skin thoroughly before applying the PDT gel.
2. Gently pop any pimples (use a needle to carefully open the acne and squeeze out the pus).
3. Remove the cap and replace it with the provided cone-shaped cap.
4. Apply the PDT gel evenly across your face.
5. Cover your face with plastic wrap.
6. Place towels over your face for 20 minutes, and remember to turn off the lights during this time.
7. Activate the LED light at 415nm and 635nm for 10 minutes each in a pulsed manner.
8. After the treatment, clean your skin.
9. Apply the Glamour Bio Cellulose Repair Mask for 20 minutes.
10. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen on your face afterward.
Typically, PDT acne treatment requires 3 to 5 sessions, depending on the individual, with each session spaced about a week apart, though this can be adjusted based on skin condition. It can also be combined with other treatments.
Photodynamic therapy has several advantages over other treatments, including:
– Eliminating acne-causing bacteria on the skin
– Targeting only specific cells, which helps preserve skin integrity
– Reducing the size and activity of sebaceous glands
– Helping to diminish old acne scars
– Not causing scarring
– Addressing other skin issues that may occur alongside acne, like age spots and rosacea
– Being compatible with other medications, except isotretinoin (Accutane)
A significant advantage of photodynamic therapy is that it does not require antibiotics or oral retinoids like Accutane, making it a suitable option for those who cannot take these medications.
